story of neighbors the Kennedy and Cantrell families is shown in the state of Tennessee.
The show is described as two families with several children between them get along famously until one of the mothers starts to dictate to the other how she should be raising her children; battle lines are drawn, violence flares, and blood runs in the street.
Gillian was acquitted of second degree murder and has since moved away from the neighborhood.

This episode made me furious. This C-ya next Tuesday should be in prison.

The ONLY THING that collection of idiot jurors did was to set a woman free so she could move and begin terror in another town!!! The JUDGE and JURY should be sentenced ----- TO LIVE NEXT DOOR TO GILLIAN, AND HER PUSSY-WHIPPED HUSBAND SHE CALLS " A MAN" !!!!!
DeleteI just finished watching this episode and I am appalled that Gillian got away with murder!! All of the police calls and the history between these neighbors should have been taken into account . A Hung jury ??? Wouldn't have happened where I live , our prosecutor would have retried this case until kingdom come . My only solace is that she will have to answer to a higher power and her momma and daddy and scared little town won't be there with her . What an enormous bitch , God help whoever lives near her now
DeleteThe police didn't even witness anything and took Kennedys side. They should have got called against them. Make them move cameras due privacy, get the kids ball back thru police, she video taped the kids with parental consent. That could be portrayed in a wrong way. There were several things the Kennedys could have had turned back onto them and got their butts what they deserved. They need to live in the middle of nowhere, homeschool their kids and garden so no one has to ever see them or talk to them or loose their family member for no reason. The Kennedys are all mental.
DeleteI just watched this episode and I am shocked at the hung jury. That woman was evil if everything happened the way it was documented. She definitely had mental issues and her husband was a powder puff husband. I believe she'll mess up again, because she seems to need that control of the neighborhood, and she's going to come across the wrong person.
DeleteUnfortunately, in the legal field, "the law" must be followed in each individual state!! The judge has to remain impartial and the law must be upheld by the jury!! It really sucks because I, too, believe she committed murder and should be in prison forever, but "emotions" are given NO WEIGHT and NO AUTHORITY and the judge even has to explain to the jury that they shouldn't use their emotions to sway their decision!! It's really very very sad!! But the fact, too, that no one called 911 from the very second the man was shot also probably contributed to his death!! I'm not sure why they waited because that would have certainly been the first thing I did!! But I'll tell you this. I'd be doing whatever I possibly could to locate those POS's and make sure they don't live another day to do this to another family!! Even if I had to hire complete strangers to kill them, they would die one way or another!!

Yankees have some kind of disconnect with reality, as far as what really matters. Such as being kind and ensuring others have a reason to think highly of you. I was born to give respect, even if you don't particularly agree with other people or like the person. I live my life my way and as long as you're not affecting my life, I don't really care what you do. She had no respect for the beauty that is southern charm and hospitality. We have many family members from the south,and they are the most respectful people you will ever meet. We really don't have self defense or stand your ground here,so that's probably why she moved where she thought that she could lord over people. Up here we would have fried her for that. I'm so sorry that they didn't retry her,most prosecutors will try as many as 3 times to get justice. It's just unconscionable. Claiming self defense is one thing, but to not let anyone come to Rooster and help him, is cold blooded and shows a deep hatred. For that reason alone she should’ve been found guilty!! She let him die! I wonder if that was actually brought up at the trial? Either way, she should’ve been tried again, perhaps in a different county. So...exactly where is she now? Not in my neighborhod, I hope. It's been 17 YEARS and it's just on the air now? What daycare did she work at? Why did she get fired? Where are her kids & husband now? Did they change their names? She really should have gotten jail time on a first degree murder charge. She shot him and prevented anyone coming to help him. She made the decision that he would die. Period. This episode leaves a lot of questions unanswered. Maybe a follow up is in order.
