The show is described as a couple escapes the dangers of the big city and moves to the country; however, they begin to suspect their new neighbors are involved in the drug trade, leading to a bloody conflict with children caught in the crossfire.   Kevin Janson Neal Kevin Janson Neal killed five people and wounded twelve others before killing himself. He had a long history of paranoia and mental illness prior to these murders. His wife, Barbara Glisan , was the first person he killed, He hid her body under the trailer the two shared. Also killed were Danny Elliott, Diana Steele, Joseph McHugh III and Michelle McFadyen . He appeared to have selected victims at random.  

The War Next Door, Robert Price and Glen Ray Berry

In season five of Fear Thy Neighbor, The War Next Door takes place in Garden Grove, California and shows the story of Robert Price and Glen Ray Berry. The show is described as a family loves everything about their new home except the mockingbirds that perch and squawk in the backyard lemon tree; the family seeks to scare them off, igniting a feud with their neighbors that spins out of control until someone lies dead.  Originally Price was  was charged with one felony count of murder with a sentencing enhancement for the personal discharge of a firearm causing death. He plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter was sentenced to five years and has since been released from prison.

The show is described as a single woman and her daughter are delighted when a single man and his two daughters move in next door; they become fast friends until molestation charges result in anger, accusations and multiple bloody deaths. Dennis Lynn Flechtner was acquitted on three counts of murder for the deaths of Adam Owen, Angela Leird, and , Robert Light. The victims were all under the influence of meth and other drugs and alcohol. She even lived in the woods behind the house when her husband divorced her. She built a bomb in a van to kill her neighbors, but it detonated prematurely killing only herself. The show is described as, when a man moves to Canyon Country, Calif., he finds himself embroiled in a bizarre and increasingly acrimonious 8-year feud with a neighbor that terminates with blasts from a shotgun    Lennie was convicted of first-degree murder at the age of fifty-one.
