The show is described as a homeowner has high hopes for the renters who move in next door; then, his hopes are dashed, setting the stage for a shocking act of violence that threatens to claim many lives    Susanne Borden survived the fire, but had extensive injuries and nearly died. This was all done because Irving believed he owned the drive way his neighbors were using. It doesn't help that the  neighbors purposefully messed with him to the point he was willing to do this. The show is described as "In Dayton, Ohio, a woman welcomes a young family when they move into the long-derelict house next door, then escalating fights over pets and children lead to a deadly confrontation." Klonda was viciously killed by Andrew and Julie's Andrew Nason and Julie Custer pit blls in her own driveway. While they had to have let the dogs out for that to happen, they were never charged in her murder. They were convicted of minor crimes, served very brief sentences and have since been released. The show is described as in Euclid, Ohio, a teenage boy develops a crush on the girl next door but gets rebuffed, setting the stage for murder. Berger was convicted of voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter and four counts of aggravated assault. Ashley claimed to have been threatened, but the victim denied this and it was not listed in any of the police reports.
