Mistress of Death Christie Jackson and Vinson Cowan, Linda Sue Cowan

In season five of Fear Thy Neighbor, Mistress of Death  shows the story of   Christie Jackson, Vinson Thomas Ward Cowan, and Linda Sue Cowan and their conflict in Burnet, Texas.

The show is described as two women have lived next door to each other since childhood; then, one of the women's ex-husband begins seeing the other, leading to a conflict; when property disputes are mixed in, the result is a shocking act violence that engulfs them all.   

Christie Jackson was shot by her neighbors, a mother and son. but survived the attack. Vinson plead guilty to shooting and was sentenced to ten years He has since been released. His mother, Linda Sue was convicted by jury and sentenced to fifteen years in prison. She could have received up to twenty years. It's just messy to date a neighbor's ex, even if you are not friends. Best to avoid that as much as possible.
