Rural Madness Myla and Jeff Oaks, Robert “Chad” Bridges
Myla and Jeff Oaks |
The show is described as differences over how to enjoy life in a rural neighborhood quickly escalate into a feud that comes to a bloody end on the road where it began.
For his role in killing Myla and wounding Jeff, he was sentenced to 38 years in prison. He was charged with first-degree murder and other offenses but eventually made bail. Ultimately he was found guilty of second-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, attempted assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into an occupied vehicle by a jury. Sadly, the Oaks' children were present during the shooting.
