In season five of Fear Thy Neighbor, Deadly Duplex  the story of ‘Cappy’ Gordon and Mark and Julia Ames is shown in Marion, Montana. Julia manipulated both men leading to a fatal confrontation that ends with Cappy dead. Julia was unable to maintain owning the home even though she was on the deed. A waste of life indeed!

The show is described as a retiree buys a duplex and rents out half of it to a troubled family; with the help of his gun, he sends the abusive husband packing and becomes smitten with the wife left behind; the situation turns deadly when the husband returns.
