Red Picket Fences, Michael and Florence Phillips, Richard Uffelman
Richard Uffelman |
Richard Uffelman is shown in the state of Maine.
The show is described as: after moving to a quiet seaside town in Maine, a family experiences a night shattered by a barrage of gunfire.
He was sentenced to to life in prison for Mrs. Phillips’ slaying and gave him a concurrent 50-year sentence for her husband’s killing. He video taped the killings and enlisted his son to assist him. While he did not use an insanity defense, he does come across as paranoid. A judge ordered Uffelman to pay damages to the son of Michael and Florence who moved to Indiana. Uffelman's sons who were ten and twelve at the time (and participated in the shooting) were placed into foster care.
